CAFE Fuel Standards Will Hurt US Car Sales Before It Helps Them
The entire concept of demanding and mandating fuel standards upon the US auto industry is bothersome to me for distinct reasons. First of all the autonomous of charge-market can solve problems much simpler than the administration, as our administration often makes more problems due to the code of unintended consequences. It appears that this is a condition in mark. For instance, if the fuel prices rise, consumers will demand cars which get bigger mileage, in doing so to meet that demand the US automakers will have to retool and build cars that meet that expectations.
