Understanding Our Relationship Needs
To a fantastic extent, our identity is formed in relationship. Our psychological Self develops and is sustained by the many experiences we have with others. Children grow up identifying with those encircling them, taking on specific characteristics and behaviors. However, it is through our relationships with others that our sense of Self and our sense of Other develops. Our sense of Self is greatly impacted by how our needs are related to by others, both in our early lifetime and in our adult relationships. More information: click
