Current Trends in US Automotive Industry

The automotive industry sales have increased in 2010 when compared to 2009. According to Motor Intelligence, there was a decrease of total automotive sales in the year 2007 from 16.14 million to 13.24 million in 2008 and 10.43 million in 2009. During the first two thirds of 2010, the automakers have sold 1.278 million vehicles in the United States which is up from 1.08 million during the first 8 months of 2009.
